Join native Icelanders Hildur Loftsdóttir and Steinunn Harðardóttir, along with designer Védís Jónsdóttir, to knit your very own traditional Icelandic Lopapeysa “Lopi” sweater. Learn the secrets of two stranded knitting, grafting, steeking, chart reading, yarn dominance and decreasing.
Participants need to know basic knitting techniques and are asked to bring their own knitting needles and “Lopi light” yarn available at Knitty City and online.
