Two Pianos are Better Than One

When The New York Times wrote an article on the piano duo of Per Tengstrand and Shan-shan Sun, the headline

read “Two pianos, four hands, one heart.” This evening presents great orchestral works for two pianos such as Johannes Brahms’ Haydn Variations and Igor Stravinsky’s masterpiece The Rite of Spring.
