In the third of a series, the 2019 Early Childhood Symposium brings together Scandinavian and American educators to build on earlier conversations from previous symposia and explore challenges and opportunities posed in the U.S. and Nordic countries by demographic, cultural, and technological change. Organized by the Child Development Institute at Sarah Lawrence College in collaboration with ASF, topics in the symposium include Education for Sustainable Development and Play; Environments, Design and Technology; Community Adventure Play for All Children; Migrant Children and Family Issues; and Racial, Ethnic and Cultural Diversity in Education.
The symposium will take place April 5 & 6, with panels starting at 8:30 AM on Friday and ending at 5 PM on Saturday.
