WED—December 23—11 AM (ET)
This December, experience the Nordic holidays with a series of virtual workshops from the Children’s Center! In this series, learn how Scandinavians prepare for Christmas through programs teaching how to make traditional holiday items such as woven hearts and yarn tomtar.
In the final event, learn how to make a julgranskaramell! Meaning “Christmas tree candy” in Swedish, a julgranskaramell is a special type of ornament that Scandinavians hang on their Christmas trees, consisting of small tubes filled with candies that are then brightly decorated with colorful tissue paper.
