FABRIC STORIES — NARRATIVE THREADS ADULT ART WORKSHOP WITH MELKORKA HELGADOTTIR

December 7, 2023—6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Join us at Scandinavia House for an adult art workshop and tour of our current exhibition, Narrative Threads. Inspired by the work of featured artist Hildur Ásgeirsdóttir Jónsson, workshop participants will create their own watercolor landscape. Inspired by the work of artist Heidi Hankaniemi, workshop participants will create their own fabric and paper collages. Guided by teaching artist Korka, participants will use paper, textiles, and notions to create a collage in a relaxed atmosphere. All materials are provided.
