In celebration of the upcoming release of Grieg: Lyric Pieces, out this October on Prospero Classical, join us for a performance by pianist Daniel Gortler! In tonight’s program, he’ll perform 12 of the celebrated Lyric Pieces by Norwegian composer and pianist Edvard Grieg — including Arietta, Notturno and March of the Dwarfs — as well as works from Robert Schumann’s Kinderszenen, Scenes of Childhood, Op. 15 and Felix Mendelssohn’s Songs Without Words.
