Learn the Nordic languages at Scandinavia House! At this course level, students will focus primarily on conversation. Topics of discussion will include Swedish cultural and social life, wild animals, historical figures and politics. Students will comprehensively review the grammar they learned in beginner courses; this course will also introduce students to a few new grammatical structures, like reflexive pronouns, the present participle and the conditional. Students will be required to read assigned books over the course of the semester. Intermediate 1 runs over three semesters and can be taken in any order.

Courses will take place on Wednesday evenings in a hybrid format. There will be no class on November 27.
