January 11, 2023—6:30 pm8:10 pm

Learn the Nordic languages in classes offered this winter at Scandinavia House! In this course based on conversation and grammar, students will now deal with finesse and formal language. At the end of the semester, students will know:

  • How adjectives and participles can function as nouns
  • Sub-class without som or har/hade, and structure with unstressed objective pronouns
  • Idiomatic expressions and the use of her or all

Students will be able to:

  • Discuss poetry and literary writings, various family structures through history and how to conduct work applications and interviews in Sweden.

Prerequisite: Swedish Intermediate 2 or equivalent. Instructions for remote learning will be emailed upon registration. For questions about language levels, please contact Malin Tybahl. Tuition $499 ($449.10 ASF Members); 15 hours total over 9 weeks.
