FOG SWEPT ISLANDS: ART FROM THE FAROE ISLANDS brings the striking diversity of the Faroe Islands’ contemporary art scene to the United States for the first time.
Opening October 14 at Scandinavia House: The Nordic Center in America, Narrative Threads: Works by Eight Nordic Artists presents multi-media artwork by Nordic artists, each distinguished by their innovative use of natural, synthetic, and digital materials.
Opening April 15 at Scandinavia House, Arctic Highways brings together the artwork and handicrafts of 12 Indigenous artists from Sápmi, Canada and Alaska in an exhibition highlighting the thriving cultural and spiritual communities of the Arctic region.
