Join us for a special celebration of the Swedish-American documentary HÅKAN – A Documentary about Chocolate, Creativity, and Passion, an intimate portrait of the legendary chocolatier Håkan Mårtensson, at Scandinavia House with Björk Cafe & Bistro on February 12! Just in time for Valentine’s Day, this event will begin with a screening of director Charlie Bennet’s highly anticipated film exploring Mårtensson’s life as he opens up about his experiences building HÅKAN Chocolatier during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and shares why his love for his family and the passion for his craft are the cornerstones of his success.

Mårtensson will be present with director Charlie Bennet following the screening for a chocolate tasting and a conversation with Björk Cafe’s Ulrika Bengtsson. The evening will conclude with a reception featuring Nordic delights from Björk Cafe & Bistro, and the opportunity to purchase Håkan’s crafted chocolates at a discounted rate.
