About the Director
Arild Andressen was born in Kristiansand, Norway (November 30, 1967). He studied culture and media at Stavanger University and television production at Bergen University, and began his career as a TV producer and editor. In 1994 he began directing successful commercials and shorts, and in 2006 he directed the Emmy-nominated series Gutta Boys.
The film Keeper’n Til Liverpool marked his debut as a feature film director and won the Crystal Bear in KPlus Generation category during the 2011 Berlinale.
