Learn the Nordic languages in classes offered this semester at Scandinavia House! This course continues to build on our basic skills by deepening the work with adjective conjugation, prepositions, modality verbs and the past tense, while also introducing another verb tense. Various cultural aspects will be highlighted during the course. Students will also begin to read assigned easy-to-read books over the course of the semester. This class will take place as hybrid learning on Mondays with classes offered at Scandinavia House and online via Zoom, and online-only on Wednesdays.
At the end of the semester students will know:
- Present perfect tense
- Comparative of the adjective
- The use of indefinite pronouns
Students will be able to:
- Talk about things they have done, make plans, compare products and make purchases and ask for or give directions.
