Norwegian author Maja Lunde visits Scandinavia House to discuss her debut novel, The History of Bees (Touchstone, August 2017). An ambitious, deftly executed literary debut in the spirit of Station Eleven and Never Let Me Go, The History of Bees follows three generations of beekeepers, weaving
a spellbinding story of their relationship with nature, their children, and ultimately one another against the backdrop of an urgent global crisis.
Following the discussion, copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
